Put me down as also wanting a graphics conversion.

In my case, the goal would be to download a page and use an offline reader
that does not necessarily have a lot of memory, and does not need full-size
images.  So, I'd like a JPG-to-JPG conversion to increase the compression.

As it is, I could do it after-the-fact with another program, but the more
steps, the more inconvenience.
