Maybe I'm wrong but I understand anything inside apps directory would be that:
"applications"; so should their corresponding file types have to be added to
filters (e.g. +*.exe)?
On the other hand, with +*/dirname/* filter you include anything included in
+*/apps/dirname/*?*
