Subject: How many times can it be 'Not Found'

Hi,

I am using/testing 3.41-BETA-10 (03/Sep/2006) to create a local off-line copy
of a handful of blogs (five small-to-moderate sized blogs).

I have chosen to include all standard file extensions by enabling all 3
checkboxes in the Scan Rules tabsheet. Everything else is default options.

HTTrack ran for 3 full days (2 MB/s ADSL line) with no end in sight.
Eventually, I had to cancel the operation.

When I looked at the error log, there are more than 30,000 entries 28,000 of
which are "Error: link not taken because of error (404 'Not Found')"

The thing is, when look at these entries, they area actually 30 distinct files
which HTTrack seems to be looking for all the time.

My question is, then, doesn't HTTrack keep a list of 'not found' links
somewhere internal --in memory-- instead of bombarding the server?
