I have the same problem.  httrack uses all my RAM and swap space (pagefile).  I
get those wonderful pagefile full Windows errors, then it crashes.  Why does
httrack hog memory this way?  Any way to prevent this from happening with some
super-hidden option?
Just like Bill, I aim (trying unsuccessfully) to spider a lot of data, and
crashes after many hours of spidering are discouraging, to say the least.
