I was able to get both thumbs + larger pictures saved locally

Try setting the Browser ID to MSIE, then set the Limits tab to 2 and let it
go.

I stopped it after about a minute and got both the page with the thumbs and
was able to click on the thumb and get the larger picture on my local drive.
