| Hi anybody,
I need some help with making webhttrack work on my Fedora 8.
I did the following steps:
1. I download the_file to /tmp
2. cd /tmp
3. gunzip "the_file"
4. tar xvf "the_file"
5. cd /tmp/the_file
6. ./configure
7. make
8. su -c "make install"
9. and enter my password
and in my home directory, I type "webhttrack" and I got the following
results:
[seanea@unknown0048548f30bf ~]$ webhttrack
/usr/local/bin/webhttrack(3076): launching /usr/bin/firefox
/usr/local/bin/webhttrack(3076): waiting for browser to terminate..
The browser Firefox launched and hangs indefinitely.
I observed that the firefox url contains:
<http://www.unknown0048548f30bf.com:8080/>
and in the firefox browser, it says:
"Server not found"
I also observed that the directory /usr/local/bin contains:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2008-04-22 20:31 .
drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 4096 2007-11-25 17:38 ..
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 420407 2008-04-22 20:31 htsserver
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 204828 2008-04-22 20:31 httrack
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 815305 2008-04-22 20:31 proxytrack
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5713 2008-04-22 20:31 webhttrack
Please help me from here to get webhttrack to work on Fedora8. Appreciate that
very much.
Sean
