Two choices:
1) Press Cancel just once and wait for it to complete.  The next day the
action will default to Continue.  It will resume where it left off on the html
files and will check other files already downloaded for changes which is
quick.

2) Just pause the download.  When the connection count reaches zero it will
just sit there counting the seconds.  Next day, just unpause and it will
continue exactly where it left off.
