This is not possible using regular HTTP/1.x. 
The only hack would be to modify the hts-cache/new.ndx 
file (which is a LF-ended txt file, that can be edited 
with text tools) and replace all /oldfolder/ 
occurences by /newfolder/. But this may not work, 
depending on the remote server.. do some tests (backup 
your project folder first!)
