If I understand correctly, you enter the user/password and press the login
button. The browser then goes to the home page but you are not logged in.

Start with just the browser, log out and log in again.
Note the url of the log out button (e.g. site/logout.cgi) this is what you'll
have to filter out in httrack.

Log out again.  Go to the login form, set up the capture and log in.
