I saw that you are looking for open issues with the 3.43 beta. Here is one: If
a scanlist file is used, then its contents is appended to the command line
without intervening whitespace, leading to unexpected bevahior.

A circumvention is to have an empty first line in the scanlist file. Maybe a
blank character as the first character in the file will do as well, but I did
not test that.
