The default in options -> Expert -> Rewrite link = relative for
internal/absolute for external
Try updating the mirror, it's possible the main page wasn't rewritten
properly. 
There is also build -> No external/no error pages to prevent a external link
from going directly to the net. This allows you to see the url of the external
page vs url of the mirror to diagnose the reason.
