I am getting into a dreadful muddle.

The download of my forum <http://aardisden.multiply.com/> took over 22 hours,
and used up over 2 gbs. 

When it finished and I tried to browse the mirror, it told me to log in, which
IE then said it could not find.  I think I should have logged in before
downloading it. What should I do now?  If I download it again, logged-in, will
the new mirror override the previous one?  And Will it take another 22 hours
and use up another 2 gbs?
Also, when I have finished with it, how do I delete it?  I want to save it to
a cd, not keep it on my computer.  Is that possible to do?
Please someone, help!
