I don't get it!

I know they vary in size but give me a rough idea about how long sites take to
download I have a reasonably fast connection and it isn't downloading very
quickly at all,
it is after midnight where I am.

Also don't have a clue what site depth means


It's not that I haven't read about it, it's that I don't understand it.
