I have already read this and i already set -%N0 (see my first post) with no
luck
i tried other things and at the moment it uses additional connections
sometimes - i'm not 100% sure but i think removing the -p7 option did the
trick. I can't see the relation, is there any?

i have read this too and think too it doesn't match as my problem of getting a
directory structured with command line options in it isn't covered by this
topic
i believe the problem is related to command line options that contain spaces
like -F where the quotation marks are removed in the hts-log.txt or
hts-in_progress.lock whatever httrack uses
The problems covered by this topic i work around by only using --mirror.
before i (re)start i delete all files smaller than 1kb (error pages). after
the (re)start there will probably a warning about not matching file size(s), i
delete this file(s) too, so after the next run it will be redownloaded.

and i read this too and i can't see how it could help. I set the options
correct and it works well if the entry URL isn't already downloaded. If
httrack decides not to download the entry url all subsequent files receive a
401 as httrack doesn't authenticate a second time even if it didn't
authenticate the first time.
The workaround is to delete the entry files, so httrack does authenticate
