| Answer to Tracey:
Hi Tracey - as Bill pointed out, if your browser can't see it, then HTTrack
won't be able to either. An exception would be if there is a page in your
mirror that has the links to all "documents" in a directory/folder hidden in
it's html or javascript, then httrack *can* find them even if you wouldn't see
the links browsing the page yourself. Tyipcally, though, if "directory
browsing is not allowed" comes up when you enter a URL, putting that URL in
HTT will be of no use.
I think Tidosho is over-reacting a bit, imho. I've seen a TON of helpful
posts from Bill and without him, a lot of the questions asked here would go
unanswered. I've seen some abrasiveness and some lack of empathy for the
unfamiliarity of new users and low-tech users, but I'm sure that comes with
answering the same thing(s) over-and-over and trying to get a point across to
someone who just refuses to "get it".
Anyway, I thank Bill for doing what *I* can't and for doing what seemingly
noone else can. If there were more polite people just as knowledgeable, I'm
sure he'd be willing to stand back and only jump in when needed. As it stands
however, he is pretty much the only person who at least tries to answer nearly
everything...
Just MHO.
