| I have WinHTTrack 3.43-7 on Windows 2000.
I did a search on the forum and saw a post that said "By default httrack only
downloads the original site and not any others."
But when I try to download <http://www.flamingmayo.com/firstchurchofpacman/>
using the default settings, I get stuff from a bunch of other sites besides
www.flamingmayo.com. I get html/css/js/gif/etc from:
images.scanalert.com
media.80stees.com
quiz.ravenblack.net
users.jyu.fi
www.80stees.com
www.csiway.com
I quit the download before it downloaded the entire internet. Then I tried to
download it again, and I went into the settings and deleted all the scan rules
(the default scan rules seem to specify to download png/gif/jpg/css/js from
ALL sites), but it still saved html/css/js/gif/etc from a bunch of other
sites, just like the first time. Any idea why it is downloading other sites?
I thought it was only supposed to download from the original site by default? | |
