just did it with "free download manager"; then I selected all the downloaded
files containing the significant stuff and combined them in a .pdf; beautiful
and fast;  now i'll just take the pdf with me and read it anywhere...              
but somebody out there feel free to still defend httrack: I am willing to try
it again... if you make a good case for it
