I get

Error:  "Unable to get server's address" (-5) after 2 
retries at link user:pass@www.blah.com/protected.html (from 
primary/primary)

whereas httrack is able to download unprotected files from 
the same site with no trouble (so it's not a DNS problem)

Telnetting to the server, port 80 seems to indicate it 
wants basic authentication

WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="blah"

I've tried different Browser IDs as a test, no luck.
Any other suggestions?
