All of my creative attempts did not collect the images from the SI site noted
above.  Thanks for your thoughts though.

I did find another site with the SI covers that seems to use a different web
structure and direct image links:

<http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/cover/home/index.htm>

And I can use HTTrack to collect cover images used on the above site (stored
at the link below.)  But I can not seem to figure out how restrict the
collection to JUST the large images from the URL below.  

<http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/si_online/covers/images/2011/0319_large.jpg>

Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks.
