My first thought is that you forgot the username and password. I do not really
know how this would be given for a ftp site, however I suspect it would be
<ftp://anonymous:password@ftp.hash.com> however some ftp's do not let you in
unless you put a valid looking address as the password, and I do not know how
to escape the @-char.
