Subject: Removing the "sid" parameter from query strings

I am trying to make a local mirror from a phpbb webite, but the forum
application dynamically inserts a "&sid=<value>" parameter into the query
string and the value changes often causing lots of problems. Since sids are
session specific I wonder if an option to "omit" (remove) any "&sid=<value>"
substrings from query strings could be added to HTTRACK ? I am not suggesting
ignoring the sid completely, just removing it from the query string (as if it
was never dynamically inserted in the firstplace) for purposes of filenames,
query hashes, and url hashes.
