I tried the following call and it seemed to work:

httrack <http://surfcjb.wordpress.com> --disable-security-limits
--max-rate=1000000 -O X -v -n '+*.tif' '-ad.doubleclick.net/*'

My version of httrack is 3.45-3

Please try the above and see if it works for you.
