I know that I'm now replying to an eight years old thread, but I had the same
problem, and this was the first result in google, so maybe this will help
someone. I have the hungarian version, so my translations may differ from the
actual captions. Go to mirror, then options, and click the third panel from
the left (it might be something like restrictions or limitations) then change
the download speed part, the default is 25000 B/s, the highest available in
the list is 500000 B/s (488 kB/s), but you can simply type 999999 (976 kB/s)
into the box.
