I need it to do the exact opposite, launch in the alternate browser. 

Xubuntu 12.04.1 on every previous install,  Webhttrack would start in Chromium
and I only have two browsers installed (Firefox as default). This re-install
it decided to use Firefox and I can't seem to figure out a way to change it,
from your thread.
