No, I do not wish to 'use' the settings in anyway apart from opening them up in
the program to resume a paused mirroring.

I was just wondering where they are stored. If I open a zero length file then
the program cannot be taking the information about the project from this file,
so where is it taking it from.

This is just a matter of information and not an attempt to be able to "do"
something I cannot currently do.
