"Advertisement", within the Advertisement box.
I suppose adding some text below "Download HTTrack Website Copier 3.47-27"
stating that ONLY the links below will actually supply the program to
download.
I do agree that it is misleading, & that it can also be confusing to some,
especially on some websites where the said Advertisement is not located within
it's own seperated boxed area.
I suppose one of the possible reasons the makers of those type of
Advertisement Images don't put a product/website name in the advert, is to
fool people into thinking THEIR Advert is what people are supposed to be
clicking on, instead of the real link the person is actually after. That would
mean they are stealing/hijacking the click, thereby earning click-through
credit through illegal methods.
A forced refresh of the page (CTRL + F5, or CTRL + Shift + R) usually resolves
it, you are then being served the same page, but mostly newer/different
adverts. | |
