Can anybody help with this - downloading a large images site using Centos and
command line options.

After about 16hrs downloading 2.5 GB of files successfully,  I suddenly
started getting these messages in my terminal window:

Warning:        engine: warning: serialize error for
www.domain.org/d/1711805-2/Cam1+_12_.JPG to
/home/main_2/domain.org/www.night.org/d/1711805-2/Cam1 _12_.JPG.tmp: open
error (directory does NOT exist!, file does not exist): Too many links

this is repeated thousands of times for different images

what does 'too many links' mean? 
how can i stop this happening? 
can i restart the copy process without it re-downloading what its already
got?
