i haven't tried it on multiple sites.  but i'm pretty sure 
since it's happening to multiple people and that it's not 
just one site.

httrack starts out fine but it never finishes.  this site 
is well over 100gb, and I don't expect to get it all, but 
httrack crashes, and it's just random.  it may download 5 
mb, or 300mb, but then it just closes on its own.  there 
are no warnings, no error msgs.  it might happen when i 
minimize it, it might happen when i minimize it to the 
system tray, it may happen if i simply lock the computer, 
and when i unlock it it's just gone.

is there some sort of log (other than the download log), 
perhaps one that can keep track of why httrack was closed, 
whether it was an error, or closed by the user.

i'm sure httrack has to do something to close, perhaps it 
does generate an error and you've just got it set to 
close?  if you do release a patch or something, or just a 
modified exe for us having problems I'd be happy to test it 
and return any data collected from it.
