1. Not sure why downloading Xcode was necessary, the instructions never asked
me to use it.

2. The instructions did not work, starting with the humungous list of errors
after step 2.

3. It is is insanely counterintuitive to make this software and then not make
an installer for it for Mac users. That would be like making an entire plane
without the landing gear; seems like a small part, but important. It also
shows the mindset and character of the dev team to ship apps without the
proper installer. Times are changing and we are approaching generation of
developers that have improved standards as the technology improves. Backwards
mentality is pretty frowned upon. That is why so many people left github, they
command lined people to death with error ridden problems. They made a desktop
application to compensate, and it helped them grow.

Just saying, its the thought that counts.
