I am trying to install httrack on my iMac. I have installed x-code and
supposedly the httrack-3.41.20 software. I am trying to follow the
directions. I have not been coding for quite awhile so I am not sure where it
is trying to get the C compiler. Please help. The response to the first step
you have given, ./config is:
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... no
checking for mawk... no
checking for nawk... no
checking for awk... awk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... no
checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C
compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
