This needs more information on your specific instance.


I download 3,400 files all in the same directory on a regular
basis. There is nothing magical about the number 1001 other than its the first
to require 4 digits (000-999)

Index numbers that HTTrack uses are 4 digit hex which is 65,536 and then it
can add a '-' and more numbers to that.

It might be your files system? though I don't know of any with a 1000 file
limit per folder

So its something about what your doing or your version is broken.
