It's software, which everybody can download and basically can run from any
computer machine. I highly doubt there is any possibility by HTTrack owner(s)
to trace anything as imho there is no "phone home" function built into HTTrack
back to the owners for usage metrics or similar reasons.

How did you find out that HTTrack was used in the first place? HTTrack traces
in the published clone of the website?
