| YES there is a way. it's very simple. you can download the complete forum with
all sub forums, threads, posts. you can browse it offline, it will be same
like browsing online.
in the settings make sure you have "create index" selected in the options. in
"filter rules" tab delete everything in the text box, then add
+www.yourpage.de/test/*
in the main window, where the text box for the web adresses (URLs) is, you
need to add
____________________________________________________________
<https://yoursite.de/test/?>postfile:C:\testpage\hts-post2%0d>
<https://yoursite.de/test/>
___________________________________________________________
that's it.. if you get a error or something like that, then you need to change
more in the settings but don't change the connection stuff under "Limits" and
"Flow Control". you can pick a higher number for the max transer rate (B/s)
for example 700000, this is ok but leave the rest alone in both tabs.
in "Links" select "Get HTML files first!" as well as "Attempt to detect all
links (even in unknown tags/javascript code)
in "Build" select Site-structure (default) and select "Do not purge old
files"
in "Spider" select "Accept cookies" and "parse java files" and "URL hacks
(join similar URLs)
in "Experts Only" u see 4 comboboxes, select in all the default
in "Log,Index,Cache" select "Make an index" and "Do not re-download locally
erased files"
in "Proxy" uncheck the checkbox for "Use proxy for ftp transfers"
with this settings i was able to download a entire MyBB forum with all sub
forums, threads etc.. i figured this out by myself, probably not 100% correct
way to do this but who cares, it works like a charm
IT WILL BE MOST LIKELY RUN FOR HOURS! JUST LET IT RUN FOR 2 HOURS AND THEN
CLICK ON CANCEL AND WAIT UNTIL THE PROCESS IS DONE. THEN GO TO THE FOLDER AND
OPEN THE MAIN INDEX FILE OF YOUR PROJECT. HAVE FUN | |
