I downloaded this program and intalled it on a PC running 
Windows NT. It ran fine without any problem. However when I 
installed on another PC running Windows 98, the program 
could not even launch. The following two messages appeared 
in two separate information boxes:

First message box:

"C:\WinHTTrack\WINHTTrack.exe"
"A device attached to the system is not functioning"

Second message box:

"Error Starting Program"

:The WINHTTRACK.EXE file is linked to missing export 
MFC42.DLL:6808"

However, when I installed Windows XP on this same machine, 
the program ran perfectly without any problem whatsoever. 
During installation process did not return any errors in 
all cases. What could possibly be the problem. Has anyone 
successfully ran this program on a Windows 98 operating 
system?
