The login authentication model was too complex: a page 
redirecting to a form, with a javascript submitting the 
page itself (yuk, what a weird script)

The only way to track that, is using either a "sniffing" 
proxy, or an embedded browser (I suppose this is what is 
done by the product you mentionned)
