Thank you very much Mr. Roche. Unfortunately this is Suse
9.0 and I am finding that a lot of things in the RPM line
don't always go as planned when running suse. I'll try and
ensure that all the required packages are installed by
useing the Yast2 process. 
    I won't be able to do this immediatly as I am entering
the hospital for quite awhile but will get back to this when
I am able. I'll let you know eventually what the problem was
if I can figure it out.
