The XML probelm is a real one. It seems that HTTrack is 
unable to handle objects using xml yet, for example:

<http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/spss/notes2/>

the 'movie' in the above website uses xml transfer, and 
HTTrack cannot download them.
