Indeed! Many of my friends and I avoid RM and haven't
installed it on our systems in months or at least a year.
Nothing like intrusive, ad-laden, bulky, non-streamlined
software that subsequently forces you to register
afterwards (or nags you each time you run it) to turn off
users of the software. I know RealOne Player pissed me off
more so than previous versions. At least I've got copies
of the older versions of the free player that I could
install so I can play back some old audio archives that I
made as realaudio years ago when it still was a nice
company and looked promising. (I'm not converting them to
mp3 because then I have another level of generation loss.)
