First, you MUST take html files too, or httrack will not be 
able to collect links embedded in pages.

Use 'Set options'/'Scan rules':
-* +www.example.com/*.html +*.gif +*.jpg

(or 
-* +www.example.com/*.php +*.gif +*.jpg
for php-driven sites, and soon..)
