No - this is kind of weird. But I suspect that, when 
quickly exiting (when no proxy if defined, or when a very 
small site is downloaded), all threads no not have the time 
to finish cleanly, and it may cause a sudden exit.

I'll investigate this issue, which seems to be related to 
several other "silent" crashes reported before.
