Most probably a redirect because of authentication - or a 
weird behaviour from the server.

Is the redirects are due to "bad" cookies, try to erase all 
cookies in your browser, and play with the "Add 
URL"/"Capture URL" feature of httrack, starting from the 
very first login page.

If this is a site's behaviour, the current httrack 
mechanism does not allow to handle properly redirects on 
images.
