I have had no problem dowloading HTML and SHTML files, 
but for some reason it does not retrieve any Cgi 
scripts or zip and tar files even when I specificaly 
enter the extension into the program before 
downloading. What is the solution to this?
Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks, and by the way, apart from a few bugs 
(actually 300 $ programs sometimes have a lot more of 
them)HTTrack is a great program.
