So do I have = in winhttrack.exe and winprofile.ini but it seems to be
different with httrack.exe and httrackrc. This far it seems that ALL = are
filtered away, probably in order to massage
deny=*idontlikethis*
into
deny *idontlikethis*

However some kind of mechanism should exist for actually having a = in the
string, as it is sometimes extremely necessary! Without it it will be
impossible to filter based on option=value.

The simplest solution would be to modify the massager? All kinds of escaping
sequences bring problems of their own. Or then use the unix default '' for
nonexpanded quotes. However even this will bring problems as what if someone
wants to filter ' ?
