Is the following option another possibility?  GN pause transfer if N bytes
reached, and wait until
  lock file is deleted (--max-pause[=N])

Can I (after e.g. 1MB data) delete the log file (with
an external programm which compresses and deletes the
gathered files) and then HTTrack continues work?
