I'm having the same issues as He-man, whose message I found via the Forum
search engine looking for "automatic configuration script". His summary of the
responses is pretty good. What I don't understand in the responses is the
insistence that such scripts use Javascript, as in our case the script is
server-side at the URL <http://wwwcache.nottingham.ac.uk/proxy.pac>

Has there been any further development on this issue? More and more ISPs and
institutions are using proxy config scripts rather than just proxy hostnames
and ports, and sadly in our case HTTrack is plain unusable for any sites
outside our domain. Even my home broadband ISP uses proxy config scripts. It
would be a shame to have to use Teleport or similar as HTTrack seems a lot
simpler to use, and has all the features I need.
