| Hi Dan, Xavier,
I first reported this last year, and it's still happening extensively with
3.33 and, by the sound of, in the latest version.
The files seem to make it successfully into the new.zip archive, but never
make it onto the disk proper.
I usually (but not always) terminate the download using the LIMIT parameter M
set to 10MB, so it may be that the process doesn't flush the files to disk
properly when it terminates in this fashion. Either way, it must be causing
thousands of users to have only partial downloads, without realising it
(because although the files are in new.txt, which I can see increasing in size
as the download progresses, the GUI version, which relies on the presence of
files on the disk, doesn't reflect the missing files).
It's causing me quite a bit of grief, I just wish I had enough knowledge to
help try to fix it. | |
