i think the problem i'm having is the verbose option. i had read somewhere
that -nv was nonverbose, but -Q seems to be the proper option (Quiet mode=non
verbose). i still get ":Done" returned when complete which my shell tries to
execute as a command. i'd like to have nothing returned at all. is there a
super diddley uber Quiet mode? :D
or is this something that should be handled by saving feedback to a log file,
emailing me, etc? i haven't done any real shell scripting in years so i'm very
rusty. | |
