| Hm, sorry i guess my language was not so clear, the "introduction page" was the
abstract of each text, reachabel without a login and which i was able to
download, and the "final link" was the highlighted TEXT link under each
abstract which as you also noticed brings to the complete pdf.
Thank you anyway fo the effort to go on the actual site and figure out what i
meant.
However, i tried to follow the scan rules u adviced and set all the options as
u said, but i imediately got the following message:
>**MIRROR ERROR**
>httrach has detected the current mirror is empty.
>If it was an update, teh previous mirror has been
>restored. Reason: the first page(s) could not be found,
>or a connection problem occurred =>Ensure that the
>website still exists, and/or check your proxy settings<=
I tried to mirror again with the rules i used until yesterday, to find out if
it could depend on the new settings, but i got the same message.
I found that typing in the browser the exact link to the pdf file on the
aaaaarg.org domain (without a.*) u can reach them wihtout any login request,
so i tried to give httrack the url <http://aaaaarg.org/files/textz/>* and i
still got the same error message.
I tried to mirror another random website to see if the problem was on my
software, but they worked great.
I read this new message on the discussion list:
>i want to give the heads up to everyone in this discussion
>that as soon as i can code it, AAAARG will be heading
>behind a login. all new people will need to be approved.
Thought it could depend of that, but i found no difference from last days in
the login procedure.
I really have no idea of what's going on.
At this point i doubt you can help me without actually mirror aaaarg yourself,
and i guess it starts to be too much of a work.
I think if you also can't help me more, i will jsut download the texts one by
one, as i really need them for my research.
I anyway appreciate the effort, thanx
Andrea.
