Humm, maybe the scope of the mirror was a bit large ?

You can cancel the mirror (WinHTTrack or WebHTTrack versions only), and let
all pending downloads to be finished. Then, httrack will move all tmp files
into regular ones.
You will be able to "continue an interrupted mirror" later -- maybe with
additional scan rules to reduce the scope of the mirror, if too much data was
downloaded, or if you were caught in some loops inside the site.
For the commandline version, there is no real solution for now ; I will replug
a ^C handler for the next version that will first finish pending downloads,
and upon a second ^C, terminate the process.
