You should have seen a 'security warning' warning explaining that your setting
have been ignored.

The '--disable-security-limits' feature allows to enforce a high value for
potentially 'dangerous' options (such as -A). Without it, the maximum value
for -A is something like 100KB/s if I remember well.

To be used with extreme caution, as it is easy to DOS a website with one
mirror session.
